    ## Secure Driver Monitoring Solution with Onsite AI

Siemens has introduced Drivetrain Analyzer Onsite, an onsite analysis solution that provides AI-powered condition monitoring for industrial drives, where data is kept completely under control.

    ### Overview

Responding to the need for real-time and secure data processing in industrial environments, this solution uses Industrial AI technology to locally monitor and analyze the performance of drive systems. It reduces reliance on cloud-based solutions, ensuring that data remains within the user's infrastructure.

    ### Technology and Operation

Drivetrain Analyzer Onsite processes high-resolution sensor data on an industrial PC, performing AI-based pattern recognition and anomaly detection. Vibration data, analog signals, and operational parameters are pre-processed and analyzed locally, detecting wear, mechanical changes, and potential failures at an early stage.

    ### System Architecture

The solution uses a container-based software architecture and supports standard industrial communication protocols such as MQTT, gRPC, and OPC UA. This facilitates integration with SCADA systems, edge platforms, and maintenance software. Data is visualized through a browser-based interface, providing facility-wide KPI trends and detailed diagnostic dashboards.

    ### Portfolio Position

Drivetrain Analyzer Onsite complements Siemens' cloud-based drive analysis solution. While the cloud solution focuses on site-wide analysis and fleet management, the onsite version is ideal for environments requiring data security, low latency, and limited connectivity.

    ### Application Areas

The solution is applied in production equipment such as extruders, packaging, and textile machines, as well as infrastructure systems like pumps, compressors, and conveyors. It is also used in motion control systems with dynamic operating conditions to detect early process deviations.

    ### Operational Contributions

By supporting predictive maintenance strategies through continuous condition monitoring and early fault detection, it reduces unplanned downtime and extends equipment life. Local data processing ensures fast response times and eliminates reliance on external connections.
