## Schaeffler and Leju Robotics Collaborate on Humanoid Robots for Industry

Schaeffler, a German motion technology company, and Leju Robotics, a Chinese humanoid robotics firm, have formed a partnership to produce industrial-scale humanoid robots. This collaboration is notable as the first of its kind between a Chinese company and established manufacturers in Europe and the US.

Schaeffler provides critical components for humanoid robots, including bearings, screw drives, precision gears, motors, and sensors, as well as thermal and battery management technologies. The company also boasts expertise in 12 core manufacturing technologies, including metal processing and additive manufacturing.

This combination of experience positions Schaeffler advantageously to integrate industrial processes with advanced robotic technologies and develop systems ready for mass production.

The partnership aims to advance the use of humanoid robots in industrial applications such as intelligent factory supervision, equipment operation support, logistics, and human-robot collaboration. Schaeffler plans to integrate a four-digit number of humanoid robots into its own production processes by 2035.
