    ## Precise Picking with AI-Powered 3D Vision in Warehouse Automation

With the increasing automation in warehouse logistics, the need for flexible and precise picking systems is growing. The ItemPickAI software module optimizes robot-assisted pick-and-place processes by combining AI-based object recognition with 3D vision technology.

    ### Accurate Picking in Complex Environments with ItemPickAI

The software reliably detects consumer products such as food, personal care, and electronics even in densely packed containers and calculates precise gripping points for robotic systems. AI analysis of 2D and 3D image data provides superior accuracy in detecting objects in mixed bins.

    ### ItemPickAI Features
    • AI-based consumer product recognition and gripping point determination
    • Precise picking adaptable to products of different shapes and arrangements
    • Gripping point calculation independent of various gripper types, such as suction or two-finger grippers
    • Transfer of gripping data to robot control systems in homogeneous transformation matrices or transformation-quaternion format
    • Safe operation with AI-powered collision detection: load carriers, nearby products, and environmental obstacles are scanned
    • Gripping area and distance control via 3D point cloud analysis
    • Support for damage-free handling of shiny or partially transparent packaging
    • High-speed picking process thanks to real-time AI analysis
    • Dynamic calculation of gripping points using neural networks
    • Automatic filtering of unsuitable gripping points
    • Scalable structure, adaptable to different warehouse sizes and product categories

    ### Integration and Hardware Support

ItemPickAI can be integrated with many robot brands using standard interfaces such as GenICam and GigE Vision. Packages are ready for KUKA and Universal Robots, and general interfaces are also supported for brands like ABB, FANUC, and Techman.

3D cameras such as Stereo visard and Stereo ace are used for 3D image acquisition to provide depth perception. Additionally, high-resolution depth detection is performed with the 3D Camera Cube embedded processing platform and Randomdot projection technology.

    ### Conclusion

ItemPickAI, which combines AI-based vision technology, flexible robot integration, and precise gripping analysis, offers a scalable solution that increases efficiency and enhances the reliability of automated picking operations in modern logistics environments.
