## Precise and Reliable Intralogistics Automation with 3D ToF and Smart Imaging Systems
IDS Imaging Development Systems GmbH introduced innovative image processing technologies for intralogistics at LogiMAT 2026. At the event in Stuttgart, IDS showcased its pioneering camera technologies that ensure transparency, efficiency, and process reliability in intralogistics at the European Machine Vision Association (EMVA) booth.
Industrial camera solutions play a critical role in the automation process for applications such as dynamic object detection, precise distance measurements, and accurate level controls. IDS's industrial cameras are also used in bin picking, process monitoring, quality control, and autonomous mobile robots (AMRs). This contributes to increasing production capacity, reducing process costs, and preventing bottlenecks.
### IDS's Product Highlights at LogiMAT 2026
- Nion 3D ToF Camera: IDS's first fully in-house developed and cost-effective 3D camera model. Provides detailed and stable depth images even in strong daylight. Suitable for dynamic object detection, precise distance measurement, and accurate volume calculations.
- uEye Live Camera Series: Monitoring cameras ideal for transparent and effective control of logistics processes via live streaming. Used in visual process control and facility monitoring applications.
- Event-based and Smart Camera Technologies: IDS's EVS cameras are optimized for dynamic motion analysis and reduce data volume. AI-powered cameras offer ease of use without requiring deep expertise.
### Technical Specifications
- Nion 3D ToF camera: Daylight-stabilized ToF technology, dynamic object detection, precise distance and volume measurement
- uEye Live series: Live streaming support, optimized for logistics and process control
- EVS camera: High dynamic motion analysis, low data requirement
