Phoenix Contact has launched the Technology Alliance Program (TAP), which expands the capabilities of EP Raptor industrial switches and computer platforms. This program enables third-party cybersecurity, automation, and analytics applications to run directly on Phoenix Contact hardware.
Initially, partners such as CyVault, EmberOT, Industrial Defender, JPEmbedded, PCItek, Radiflow, and SyskeyOT are included. These partners offer the ability to natively run functions like OT security, visibility, compliance, and communication on Phoenix Contact platforms.
With TAP, Phoenix Contact supports the transition from using numerous separate devices in the industry to converged, high-performance platforms. This allows organizations to simplify their architectures and reduce hardware complexity, while easily running their preferred applications on EP Raptor switches, industrial computers, or within the PLCnext ecosystem.
The program aims to provide customers with a more flexible application environment. This environment enhances security while improving operational performance, and reduces complexity, power consumption, cabling, and points of failure. It also facilitates the deployment of cybersecurity and automation workloads.
