Technology company Meta is entering a new era for its paid services. The company will start experimenting with premium subscriptions for Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp users.
SUBSCRIPTION SYSTEM IS COMING
According to a BBC report, tech giant Meta will begin experimenting with premium subscriptions for Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp users in the coming months as part of its latest trial with paid services.
Subscriptions will create exclusivity, especially by using AI tools. The company also plans to test subscriptions for features like the "Vibes" video creation app, which will "bring your ideas to life with new AI image generation tools."
AI IMPACT IS INCREASING
Manus subscriptions for businesses will also continue to be offered. It will replace many chatbots that require users to ask questions repeatedly to get the desired answer.
Manus states that its service can independently plan, execute, and complete tasks in accordance with instructions. A statement from the company said, "Manus's extraordinary ability will join Meta's team to deliver multi-purpose agents across our consumer and business products, including Meta AI."
LIMITED SHARING TEST
A notification sent to some users in the UK and US deeply upset some users. Last year, Facebook tested imposing a limit on the number of links some users could share on the social media platform.
It was announced that non-subscribing users would be able to share a limited number of links and content. The company described this as "a limited test to understand if the ability to post more posts containing links adds additional value for subscribers.
