    ## New Series from KUKA in 25 and 35 Kilogram Capacity Industrial Robots

KUKA has added new robot models with 25 and 35 kilogram payload capacities to its KR CYBERTECH family. These new robots provide a transition to the medium payload class, offering high performance as well as flexible mounting options in industrial applications.

These new models in the KR CYBERTECH series aim to deliver higher performance while maintaining the same installation footprint. With improvements in repeatability values, suitability for artificial intelligence applications is also ensured. Furthermore, compliance with the ISO 10218:2025 industrial robot safety standard is a priority.

    ### Flexible Mounting and Wide Application Areas

Thanks to their flexibility in being mounted on the floor, wall, or at different angles, the robots allow for easy integration into existing production systems. They can be used in many areas, from material handling to machine tending, pick-and-place, and automated testing applications.

    ### New Central Wrist Design

Both models feature a newly developed central wrist structure. This increases wrist rigidity, providing an advantage in high-speed pick-and-place operations and applications requiring additional process forces. The IP67-rated wrist is resistant to dust and water splashes.

    ### KR C5 Slim Control Unit and Operating System

The robots are compatible with the KR C5 slim control unit, designed for the iiQKA.OS2 operating system. Ideal for use in confined spaces due to its compact design, the control unit can be expanded with additional driver modules.

The system, working integrated with the iiQKA.OS2 operating system and the KUKA smartPLUG teach pendant, increases flexibility in robot programming and operation. This structure ensures easy integration into automated production environments and is ready for future AI-based applications.
