## New Member Joins HighByte Board of Directors
HighByte, an industrial software company, has announced that Scott Harden from Schneider Electric has joined its Board of Directors. Harden will bring significant contributions to the company with his deep expertise in energy and sustainability.
### Board Membership and Role
Scott Harden serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer for Schneider Electric’s Global Energy Management business. He is responsible for defining and implementing the technology roadmap for software applications supporting the company's residential electrification portfolio. He leads innovation and R&D efforts across multiple international centers, guiding cross-functional software teams to achieve strategic goals for the residential segment.

### Harden's Career Background and Other Roles
Prior to March 2022, Harden worked at Microsoft as the Global Energy and Sustainability CTO. In this role, he was responsible for the technology vision in the energy and sustainability sector, providing leadership on industry trends, competition, partnerships, and long-term growth plans. He also serves as the board secretary for the Smart Electric Power Alliance and is the former president of Grid Forward.

Harden will serve on the 5-member board alongside chairman Seth Lawry, Megan Buntain, Head of Marketing and Strategy at Seeq, Ben Sampson, Principal at Standard Investments, and HighByte CEO Tony Paine.
