    ## ABB Robotics and Nvidia Partner for Industrial Physical AI

ABB Robotics and Nvidia have partnered to develop physical AI solutions for industry. By integrating Nvidia's Omniverse libraries with ABB's RobotStudio software suite, they aim to bridge the gap between simulation and the real world.

This technological merger will enable developers to train AI models by simulating robots on digital twins. Manufacturers will thus have the opportunity to implement AI-powered robots into various industrial workflows.

The new product, ABB RobotStudio HyperReality, will be launched later this year. This technology makes it possible to reliably and precisely train many ABB robots anywhere in the world.

    ### ABB RobotStudio HyperReality Features
    • Potential to reduce development costs by up to 40%
    • Accelerate time to market by 50% in production scaling
    • Design, test, and optimize production lines in a virtual environment
    • Eliminate the need for physical prototypes, shortening installation and commissioning times by up to 80%
    • Virtual controller using the same firmware as ABB's hardware
    • Reduce positioning errors from 8-15 mm to 0.5 mm accuracy (Absolute Accuracy technology)
    • Suitability for high-precision industrial applications

ABB Robotics states that it is the only robot manufacturer on the market to have a virtual controller that makes simulation and real-world performance almost identical.

ABB RobotStudio HyperReality is currently being piloted in Foxconn's consumer electronics assembly processes.

This development is considered an important step for the future of physical AI and robotic automation in industry.
