4 New AI Tools from Aveva for Engineering and Design Workflows

Aveva has introduced four new artificial intelligence (AI) tools targeting industry priorities for engineering and design processes.

These tools address various needs, from project engineering support to layout planning. The industrial AI assistant, integrated directly into engineering and design tools, supports teams in project work while facilitating the adaptation of new employees.

The generative design AI assistant analyzes design constraints based on design requirements and user guidelines, offering layout options for Pre-FEED and FEED stages, such as pipe routing. According to Aveva, this tool provides significant increases in efficiency and time savings.

The predictive design AI assistant, which allows users to create their own machine learning models without requiring coding, enables overcoming specific design challenges.

Finally, the intelligent point cloud framework, which automatically reads, imports, and displays point cloud data enriched with AI classifications, is also supported by Aveva Point Cloud Manager.
