Zuken Unveils E3.Series Design Platform in 2026

The latest updates to the E3.series design software will include cloud access, enhanced variant management, and ECAD-MCAD integration to support engineers in control systems, wiring, and fluid design.

With these updates, engineers will work more efficiently and manage their projects more easily. These innovations offered by the E3.series software will accelerate your design processes, enabling you to gain a competitive advantage.

Zuken E3.series 2026 Release Announcement: Innovations Enhancing Engineering Workflows

Zuken has announced the upcoming E3.series 2026 release. These updates aim to improve engineering workflows, support larger datasets, and enable more efficient collaboration across design disciplines. The new release will include browser-based project access, additional automation features, and improvements in schematic, cabling, panel, and formboard design.

Web-Based Access with E3.CloudViewer

A significant change to the platform is the introduction of E3.CloudViewer. This tool provides web-based access to design files and integrated documentation. It aims to increase access for geographically distributed engineering teams and facilitate project reviews outside of the local software environment.

Zuken’s E3.series 2026 release will be available starting October 2025.

Enhanced Workflow and Collaboration

The E3.series 2026 release emphasizes daily usability. Engineers working with large or variant-rich projects will find faster navigation and editing capabilities thanks to improved management of options and variants.

A new search and replace tool for attributes and texts allows for precise bulk edits, while selective component update functions aim to reduce interruptions during the application of changes.

Multi-user project work has also been improved. Real-time visual indicators, project filters, and user visibility features are designed to facilitate team coordination and prevent version conflicts during simultaneous edits.

Schematics, Cabling, and Formboard

Several E3.series modules are receiving targeted improvements as part of the 2026 release. In E3.schematic, E3.cable, and E3.formboard, engineers will be able to filter connection tables to exclude formboard-specific elements, which can improve performance in large systems. Users can now edit cable lengths directly on dimension lines, making it easier to update manufacturing data.

Automatic naming of mating connectors has been added based on function or location-based rules to reduce input errors and ensure consistency. Additionally, more detail has been added to document outputs, providing clearer connection visuals, indicators for split blocks, and more accurate diameter calculations for routed bundles.

Cabinet and Panel Design

The E3.panel tool focuses on placement and manufacturability for cabinet design.
