    ## Renishaw's Six Degrees of Freedom Absolute Position Measurement Encoder System

    Renishaw has introduced absolute position tracking technology capable of measuring up to six degrees of freedom with its new 1.5D scale optical encoder system for precise motion systems and advanced error compensation.

    ### Multi-axis Measurement and Industrial Needs
    Sectors such as semiconductor manufacturing, precision machining, photonics, and advanced automation systems demand multi-axis position information with high accuracy and speed. In response to these needs, Renishaw developed a true multi-degree-of-freedom (multi-DoF) optical encoder system by combining absolute encoder readers with new scale technology.

    ### RXMA30 1.5D Scale and Multi-axis Measurement
    At the heart of the system is the RXMA30 1.5D scale. This scale is designed to work seamlessly with RESOLUTE absolute encoder readers. Thanks to separate measurement paths, it provides direct position data in the X and Y axes without the need for complex signal interpolation methods.
