    ## Programmable Indicators and Wireless Ethernet Radio Solutions from Banner

In industrial automation, providing clear feedback to operators and establishing reliable communication between machines streamlines production flow. Banner Engineering has introduced the S22 programmable indicators and touch buttons, along with the DX700ER wireless Ethernet data radios, for this purpose.

The S22 series supports IO-Link and Modbus communication protocols, enabling centralized configuration and access to device data from control systems. These 22 mm form factor devices integrate elegantly into panels and machines, providing operators with flexible visual notifications such as color options, LED animations, and brightness.

Touch button models activate without force using capacitive touch sensor technology and can be operated with bare or gloved hands. This reduces repetitive strain caused by mechanical buttons, while enabling bidirectional communication between the device and the operator.

    ### S22 Programmable Indicators and Buttons Features
    • IO-Link and Modbus communication protocols
    • 22 mm compact form factor
    • Color and LED animation options
    • Force-free activation with capacitive touch technology
    • IP67 and IP69K protection ratings for dust and water resistance
    • Polycarbonate housing
    • Easy installation and replacement with M12 quick-disconnect connector
    • Special models for pick-to-light applications

The DX700ER Ethernet Data Radio provides wireless connectivity in industrial environments where long Ethernet cables are impractical or cannot be used. The DIN-rail mounted device offers the advantage of optimizing signal strength with an external antenna connection. Additionally, an on-device display allows technical teams to configure operating modes, review network diagnostics, and perform field analyses.

As part of the Sure Cross MultiHop platform, the DX700ER supports point-to-multipoint wireless Ethernet networks, allowing signals to be transmitted with multiple hops. Thanks to its self-healing network structure, the system automatically finds an alternative route if a connection is lost.

    ### DX700ER Ethernet Data Radio Technical Specifications
    • Designed for wireless Ethernet communication
    • Easy DIN-rail mounting
    • External antenna connection capability
    • On-device display for configuration and network diagnostics
    • Sure Cross MultiHop supported wireless networks
    • Self-healing network structure

These innovative devices enhance human-machine interaction in modern automation systems while strengthening in-plant flexibility through wireless connectivity.
