    ## OnLogic's Palm-Sized Industrial PC for Edge Computing

OnLogic has introduced its new ultra-compact, fanless IPC model, the CL260, designed for use in space-constrained environments for industrial IoT and automation applications.

PCs have become standard in many different environments today, performing tasks such as data collection and image processing in dusty, hot, cold, and even humid areas. OnLogic, on the other hand, produces computers specifically designed for harsh industrial conditions, and the CL260 model is the most compact version in this series.

    ### OnLogic CL260 Features
    • Processor options: Intel N150 or N250
    • Dimensions: 115 mm x 30 mm x 82 mm
    • Mounting: DIN rail compatible
    • Connectivity: 4 USB ports, 2 GbE Ethernet ports, 2 USB-C ports
    • Storage: 128 GB M.2 SSD (expandable up to 2 TB optionally)
    • Power Input: 12-24 VDC, 3-pin terminal block
    • Cooling: Fanless design for low heat generation
    • Wireless and operating system: Not included in the base model, can be added optionally

While the CL260 may not have high hardware power to run advanced artificial intelligence algorithms, it can easily handle data collection and HMI applications. It contributes to reduced heat and lower costs by saving space in electrical panels. Thanks to its DIN rail mounting option, it can be easily installed like other electrical components.

As IPCs, which bridge the gap between the IT and OT worlds in terms of connectivity and data collection, become smaller and more cost-effective, their industrial application areas are expanding. Small computers like the OnLogic CL260 are ideal solutions for IoT gateways, small HMI applications, and web-based applications.

They can be used with programming interfaces like Node-RED to transfer machine data to cloud services. Most HMI applications running on Windows or Linux operating systems can perform well on the CL260.

This new generation IPC can establish a solid foundation for clean and scalable operations. The preference for open architectures and correct KPI definitions supports transformation in industrial data flow management.
