Nufarm Digitizes Shift Communication with eschbach Platform

Nufarm's shift communication process at its Linz, Austria facility has been digitized with eschbach's Shiftconnector platform, transforming it into a single real-time source of information. This has ensured transparency across production, maintenance, and management departments.

### Benefits of the Shiftconnector Platform
Shiftconnector provides a common visibility among teams by keeping a record of all incidents and malfunctions. Previously, Nufarm managed shift logs using paper, Excel spreadsheets, and Microsoft Teams, but lacked a single integrated system.

Site Manager Dr. Björn Christensen stated that this situation led to inconsistencies in information sharing and a lack of transparency. Having to go to the control room to access shift logs and wasting time between paper and spreadsheets was an endless problem.

### Increase in Operational Efficiency
Shiftconnector has significantly saved time by reducing shift handover preparation time from 50 minutes to 15 minutes. Manual data entries have been reduced, and safety checks and Gemba walks have been digitized. Operators can record directly into the system with their mobile devices, even in facility areas without Wi-Fi connectivity.

### Users and Customization
Approximately 200 users at Nufarm Linz have been integrated into the Shiftconnector platform. The platform can be tailored to the specific needs of the facility and easily managed without IT or third-party support.

Plant manager Aldin Majlovic stated that the technology has been adopted by employees, reducing the risk of errors in shift communication and increasing efficiency. Production manager Dr. Christoph Steinlechner emphasized that the platform's no-code structure facilitates customization.
