Hitachi Digital Services has introduced a new Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) platform to support data-driven management and smart factory applications in production processes. This platform aims to enhance manufacturing visibility, traceability, and process control in the industry by strengthening the integration of OT (operational technology) and IT (information technology) systems.

    ### Seamless Connection from Manufacturing to Enterprise Software
The MOM platform is built on a modular architecture that integrates manufacturing systems with enterprise software such as Product Lifecycle Management (PLM). It is designed to ensure compatibility and data flow across various sectors, including energy, high-tech manufacturing, transportation, and heavy industry. This establishes a continuous digital connection from design to production and quality management, enabling detailed traceability throughout the product lifecycle.

    ### Data Integration Supporting Quality, Cost, and Delivery Management
The platform analyzes production and field data to optimize Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) performance indicators. By collecting operational data, adjustments can be made to production parameters, thereby increasing process efficiency. Furthermore, it features scalable workflow management capabilities that enable rapid responses to demand changes. These features support flexible and data-driven production environments within the scope of Industry 4.0 and 5.0 manufacturing strategies.

    ### Successfully Implemented in Internal Production Environments
Hitachi developed and tested the platform in over 100 critical production facilities. Through a "Customer Zero" approach, they validate the technology in their own production environments, preparing it for industrial applications. This method aims to increase productivity by enhancing human-machine collaboration and contribute to sustainability goals by optimizing resource utilization.

    ### Contribution to HMAX Industry Digital Manufacturing Portfolio
The MOM platform will be an important part of the HMAX by Hitachi solution family, which brings together artificial intelligence, IoT, and industrial data platforms. It supports smart manufacturing strategies based on asset operations management and connected data ecosystems by combining physical asset data with digital system information.
