## Murata Expands IoT Ecosystem with Engineering Partners
Murata Manufacturing has expanded its ZENCROSSTM Alliance ecosystem by adding engineering and development partners to support scalable low-power IoT applications.
Industrial and commercial IoT solutions require the coordinated integration of hardware, connectivity, embedded software, and cloud services within a digital supply chain. To overcome these challenges and shorten development times, Murata has brought Professional Software Associates and Grinn into its ecosystem.
### Zencross Alliance Expansion
This expansion aims to accelerate the productization and rapid field deployment of low-power IoT solutions across various sectors, including smart cities, asset tracking and logistics, energy management, smart buildings, environmental monitoring, and connected consumer and commercial devices.
### Complex IoT Solution Stacks
IoT solutions combine sensor hardware, RF connectivity, embedded software, and cloud-based data management, creating complex structures. Design teams must shorten time-to-market and reduce integration errors.
The ZENCROSSTM Alliance aims to accelerate pre-production validation processes by offering a coordinated structure that integrates module suppliers, connectivity providers, cloud platforms, and engineering services.
### Technology Infrastructure
At the core of the alliance are Murata's low-power wide-area cellular connectivity modules (Type 1SC, Type 2GD, Sequans Cat.1bis). The Aeris IoT Accelerator (IoTA) platform provides global connectivity and device lifecycle management. Tartabit's IoT Bridge product handles device integration and data routing, delivering data streams to hyperscale cloud platforms like AWS, Microsoft, and Google Cloud.
### Security and Monitoring
Continuous cybersecurity monitoring provided via Aeris IoT Watchtower™ supports the operational security of connected devices.
### Contribution to System Integration
Professional Software Associates and Grinn offer full system design, embedded software development, and application layer engineering services, enabling the realization of production-ready IoT solutions, not just prototypes.
The ecosystem also supports secure remote service provisioning and device identity management with Thales's eSIM technologies and reference architectures, offering an end-to-end integrated IoT solution path.
