## Kassow Robots Introduces Connector App for Bosch Rexroth ctrlX

Kassow Robots has announced its Connector app, which facilitates collaboration with Bosch Rexroth’s ctrlX AUTOMATION platform. This new application enables real-time integration of collaborative robots (cobots).

### Simplifying Collaborative Robot Integration
Previously, connecting ctrlX OS devices with Kassow cobots required PLC programming, and real-time functionality was limited. The Connector App removes these restrictions, allowing instant access to cobot data via the ctrlX Data Layer.

Thanks to the new interface, operators and developers can connect and monitor cobots directly from ctrlX OS devices, issue robot motion commands, acknowledge alarms, track system status, and operate robots in jog mode. Control integration can also be done via CODESYS PLC or other ctrlX OS applications. This centralized control approach simplifies system setup while reducing integration complexity.

### Expanding the ctrlX AUTOMATION Ecosystem
Kassow Robots, under the umbrella of Bosch Rexroth, is expanding its open ctrlX AUTOMATION platform to support robotic applications with app-based interfaces. This solution enables integration with various partner technologies such as vision systems, robotic grippers, and human-machine interfaces (HMIs).

This allows for the development of automation solutions for applications such as palletizing systems, object picking operations, and mobile robotic platforms. For example, Kassow cobots can be combined with the navigation technologies of the ROKIT Robotics Kit to create mobile robotic systems that manage navigation, motion, and robot control from a single ctrlX OS device.
