    ## Jungheinrich Introduces the EAC 212a Autonomous Mobile Robot

Jungheinrich has launched the EAC 212a, a high-lift capacity autonomous mobile robot designed for logistics and production facilities. This robot automates pallet and stillage transport, accelerating in-warehouse handling processes.

The EAC 212a, with a carrying capacity of 1,200 kg and a maximum travel speed of 6 km/h, ensures cost-effective material flow while reducing manual interventions at transfer points.

    ### Process Reliability with AI-Powered 3D Pallet Detection

Load positioning accuracy plays a critical role in system reliability. Thanks to AI-based 3D pallet detection, the EAC 212a can detect and align load carriers, including those with a position deviation of ±100 mm and a rotation of ±10°. This feature enables accurate picking and dropping even for manually placed pallets, reducing errors and disruptions.

    ### Contour-Based Navigation Requiring No Infrastructure Changes

The LiDAR sensor-supported navigation system creates a digital map of the existing warehouse environment and moves autonomously using natural reference points. This eliminates the need for artificial markers or structural changes, reducing project duration and costs.

    ### VDA 5050 Compliance and Flexible Integration

Integration with higher-level fleet management and host systems is ensured through the VDA 5050 communication standard. Traffic zones and processing logic can be easily adapted to changing operational needs.

    ### Safe Operation in Mixed Environments

The EAC 212a is designed to operate alongside personnel and manual vehicles. Its 360° safety sensor system monitors the environment, detects obstacles over 70 mm, and automatically takes precautions. This increases safety in busy production and logistics areas while ensuring uninterrupted material flow.

    ### Lithium-Ion Battery and Opportunity Charging

Equipped with a 130 Ah lithium-ion battery, the robot supports automatic opportunity charging. During short idle times, it goes to a charging station to partially recharge its battery and continues its task without interruption. This method maximizes operating time and simplifies fleet planning.

    ### EAC 212a Features
    • Load capacity: 1,200 kg
    • Maximum speed: 6 km/h
