Inovance Technology Europe participated in the SPS Nuremberg fair for the first time to introduce the European face of the rapidly growing $3 billion industrial automation company and to showcase its complete motion solution package.
Inovance Technology Europe, the Stuttgart-based European arm of global industrial automation company Inovance, launched four new products for the European market: the high-performance Easy Series PLC, GL20 I/O modules, AC703 IPC motion controllers, and the SV670 servo drive series. The company also introduced the MD800 compact AC drive, never before seen at the SPS fair, and provided an advanced preview of the SV680 servo drive. The launch took place at a face-to-face press conference held at SPS. At the event, Inovance also reported rapid growth both globally and in Europe, announcing that global sales had reached $3 billion, and stated that Inovance is making significant long-term investments in Europe with a network of offices covering Germany, France, Italy, and Spain, as well as Turkey, and a rapidly growing European team.
Inovance has experienced rapid global and European growth over the past three years. The company now has a large team spread across a network of offices in Europe, including Stuttgart (European Headquarters), Bordeaux, Milan, Istanbul, and Barcelona, and a European distributor network. Inovance has significant R&D facilities at its Stuttgart Headquarters to develop real-time machine control software. Additionally, the company employs a team of product managers who work closely with OEM customers to understand and define the most suitable solution for their needs. Inovance also works with a strong team of European application engineers to provide consultation and support to its customers.

A complete motion solution package
The company offers a complete motion solution package, including motion controllers, EtherCAT and servo drives with servo motors, HMIs, and LV and MV AC drives. Among the four products launched, the Easy Series is a high-performance, compact, and EtherCAT-enabled PLC. The highly compact GL20 I/O modules are 2/3 smaller than Inovance's previous generation product and offer a minimum cycle time of 125 microseconds. The AC703 IPC motion controller offers a CODESYS (IEC 61131-3) programming environment, control of up to 32 axes, a Webvisu server, EoE support, IIoT capability, and safe shutdown (without the need for an additional UPS). Finally, the SV670 single-axis pulse servo drive offers high performance, advanced functionality, and true flexibility.

Meanwhile, in addition to the product launches, Inovance offered a preview of the SV680 servo drive, which features advanced functional safety functions (including FSoE) and extremely high performance, and introduced the MD800 AC multi-drive for the first time at SPS. Although the MD800 was launched late last year, it could only be seen at SPS due to the cancellation of last year's fair. The MD800 is a compact AC multi-drive designed to meet the demands of European OEMs for low installation costs and smaller machine cabinets.
David Bedford Guaus, Strategic Marketing Manager for AC drives and servos at Inovance Technology Europe, says: "We are currently in a fascinating period for Inovance Technology Europe. With the resources of a $3 billion global company behind us, we are investing heavily to grow in Europe, constantly acquiring new customers and hiring new staff. Unlike many drive and automation companies, we can supply products instantly and with short lead times."

Two things make Inovance particularly exciting: Firstly, the chance to play a major role in building a company across Europe from scratch. The other is our product range. We have one of the most complete product ranges of any industrial automation company, as evidenced by the fact that in 2021, we invested 9.4% of our revenue and a full 20% of our global workforce in R&D. Our product range includes LV and MV AC drives, servos, motion control, PLCs, HMIs, CNCs, and 6-axis SCARA robots.
