## IMI to Supply Specialist Ultra-High Pressure Valves for North Sea Offshore Development

IMI has been selected as the supplier of specialist control valves for use in ultra-high-pressure injection systems for a significant offshore development project in the North Sea.

These valves will operate under extremely demanding conditions with pressures exceeding 600 bar (8,700 psi) and will support chemical injection processes that help maintain flow and optimize production from deep offshore wells.

• Manages full pressure drop from high pressures like 621 bar (9007 psi) down to near vacuum levels
• Designed to provide precise and stable pressure control

The valves successfully passed extensive endurance tests conducted in both balanced and unbalanced configurations. These tests ensured that the valves were exposed to operating conditions reflecting real-world field scenarios.
