It is used to transfer the direct current (electricity) obtained from solar panels to desired living spaces. Inverters also have the ability to convert alternating current in living spaces into electrical energy.

These devices perform a special conversion and offer the advantage of use at the desired capacity. Inverters can also be used to monitor electrical current. Therefore, choosing the right Solar inverter models, which have such important features, requires great care.

What Factors Should Be Considered When Choosing a Solar Inverter?

    Inverter Type

You should start by choosing the correct inverter type that will fully meet your needs for electrical current. Solar inverter models are divided into 3 different types.

    String Inverter Models

This is a very popular type. It is also a budget-friendly option in terms of price. Through the inverter, direct current is easily converted into alternating current. String inverter types are particularly suitable for small and medium-scale applications.

    Micro Inverter Models

As the name easily suggests, these are small devices used with every solar panel. With these special models, each panel operates independently, which provides much higher efficiency.

    Hybrid Inverter Models

Known for their versatility, these are user-friendly products that can connect to solar panels and batteries. They stand out primarily for their ease of energy storage.

    Power Capacity

An important consideration during inverter selection is its power. It is crucial to choose an inverter with a power output parallel to the production capacity of the existing solar energy panel.

    Efficient Structure

An efficient inverter converts the energy obtained from the panel into AC. Its efficient nature minimizes energy losses during conversion.

    Durable Structure

Solar energy panels generally have a lifespan of 25 years. The lifespan of solar inverter types can increase or decrease depending on the characteristics of the installation location. Generally, it can be said that they have a service life ranging from 5 to 10 years.
