Emerson aims to reduce automation costs, increase operational intelligence, improve data visibility, and strengthen cybersecurity by adding new features to the DeltaV Automation Platform 16.LTS version.

The DeltaV 16.LTS version provides access to the DeltaV IQ Controller, which operates in a server-based environment. With Emerson's flexible subscription model, the DeltaV Flex System offers companies the full scope of the DeltaV distributed control system in a structure where they can pay for its use over time and easily scale it according to market conditions.

This update includes native support for Profinet over Ethernet-APL, offering high-speed connectivity on the DeltaV PK Controller. This enables rapid access to field devices in process and hybrid manufacturing operations.
