## Crouzet Offers Advanced Features with New Millenium PLC
Crouzet has introduced its new Millenium PLC, equipped with expanded connectivity options such as Ethernet and Modbus RS-485. This new generation controller provides flexibility and ease for both new installations and upgrades.
The new Millenium PLC stands out with integrated Ethernet, Modbus RS-485, SD card support, and up to 60 expandable I/O points. Advanced color display features allow operators to monitor data more comfortably, while Crouzet Soft software simplifies programming and accelerates the conversion of legacy code.
### New Millenium PLC Features
- Integrated Ethernet port, no need for an additional communication module
- Modbus RS-485 connectivity
- SD card interface for expanded storage and easy program loading
- 8 input channels: 8 digital or 4 high-speed digital + 4 digital/analog (4-20 mA) combination
- 8 amp relay outputs or PWM outputs (model-dependent)
- 12-24 V DC, 24 V DC, and 110-230 V AC power options
- Modular expansion capability up to 60 I/O points
- Advanced three-color, 6-line 24-character display (significant improvement compared to Millenium 3)
- Easy programming with Crouzet Soft software and legacy code compatibility
### Software and Programming Ease
The latest version of Crouzet Soft offers a simple four-step migration process from Millenium 3 to the new PLC. This process allows legacy code to be quickly adapted to the new platform; typically, only the I/O configuration needs to be updated. Programs can be easily transferred via SD card or Ethernet cable. Additionally, the software library contains over 2000 function blocks, reducing manual programming.
The new Millenium PLC is designed for use in both new automation systems and for upgrading existing PLCs. Its integrated communication module saves space in the control cabinet without increasing system complexity. In these respects, it offers significant advantages for machine and automation designers.
