Arvato has formed a strategic partnership with the technology company Unchained Robotics to develop and implement robotic and automation solutions more rapidly in operational areas.

By acquiring a minority stake in the Paderborn, Germany-based company Unchained Robotics, Arvato is accelerating the development and implementation of modular and vendor-independent robotic solutions in logistics and order fulfillment processes. Robotics is seen by Arvato as an integral part of its holistic automation and scaling strategies.

In the coming years, Arvato plans to implement a triple-digit number of robot applications in various logistics and order fulfillment environments. The collaboration with Unchained Robotics enables the development and testing of new solutions for specific use cases under real operational conditions, preparing them for widespread application.
