Ametek, a company operating in the field of electronic design and manufacturing, has established a new business unit called Faro Creaform by merging its Faro Technologies and Creaform business units. This merger aims to offer a strong portfolio in the field of dimensional measurement technologies.

Within this scope, Faro's reality capture business line will be restructured as Faro Insight. This new unit will focus on reality capture software that transforms the physical world into operational insights. The new technology will enable data capture, point cloud conversion, data management, and the sharing of digital twin workflows.
