    ## Alliance Sensors Group's S2A CyberSecure Smart AC-LVDT Signal Conditioner

Alliance Sensors Group has introduced its S2A CyberSecure Smart AC-LVDT Signal Conditioner, the most advanced standalone AC-LVDT signal conditioner for power generation and high-reliability applications.

Designed for fast, intuitive setup and maximum system integrity, the S2A was developed to work with the widest variety of LVDT, RVDT, and inductive half-bridge sensors on the market. With support for 3-wire GE LVRTs and GE gas turbine buck-boost type LVDTs, the S2A offers an ideal upgrade or replacement solution for older turbine and control systems.

    ### Cybersecurity and System Integrity

One of the standout features of the S2A is its built-in cybersecurity architecture. Unlike traditional signal conditioners, the device includes protection systems that prevent unauthorized tampering and provide instant notification in case of interference. These features are critical in today's cybersecurity-conscious power generation environments.

    ### S2A Key Features

    • Cybersecurity protection that prevents unauthorized tampering and sends notifications to the main system operator
    • Color-coded, plug-and-play connections for quick and error-free installation
    • Enhanced system awareness with advanced self-diagnostic systems
    • 2-year warranty

    ### S2A Operational Features

    • Push-button calibration for rapid commissioning
    • RS-485 digital communication for remote setup and monitoring
    • Hot-swap capability to minimize operational downtime
    • Advanced diagnostics for fault detection in critical applications

The S2A offers more diagnostic features than any other standalone LVDT signal conditioner currently on the market. Designed for demanding environments such as steam turbine control systems in nuclear and fossil fuel power plants, the device can detect at least 11 different fault conditions, allowing operators to identify problems before they impact system performance or safety.

Installation time is reduced by up to 10 times thanks to the S2A's intelligent microprocessor-based calibration process. Calibration is automatically adjusted to the appropriate LVDT sensor by pressing the Zero and Full Scale buttons on the front panel. Additionally, the device can be configured remotely via a computer through its RS-485 communication port.

By combining cybersecurity, diagnostics, ease of use, and broad sensor compatibility, the S2A sets new standards for AC-LVDT signal conditioning in power generation and other high-reliability control systems.
